As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats. Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. Manage the direct activities of an area within a department or function. Provides direct supervision to professional, direct or indirect labor staff. Ensure that plans are implemented, and milestones are achieved. Direct the activities of staff to achieve objectives at lowest cost. Shift information: First Shift – Mon-Thurs 4:45 AM -3:15 PM. Responsibilities include maintaining high visibility with production staff, developing a high-performance work team, creating and maintaining a respectful work environment, helping production staff succeed through performance management, reviewing project build schedules, ensuring product quality levels, supporting and implementing customer-focused processes in accordance with lean principles, fostering continuous improvement, supporting production staff in understanding company policies, maintaining time and production records, supporting corrective actions, communicating daily with production staff and other supervisors, providing support to new product development teams, hiring and retaining diverse staff, and maintaining a safe and professional work environment. Education preferred: Associates or Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Required qualifications include minimum 1 year’s experience in manufacturing operations with demonstrated ability to apply manufacturing principles. Preferred qualifications include experience in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model, strong leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, organizational skills, supervisory experience in medical device manufacturing, problem-solving ability, knowledge of business metrics, and understanding of Quality System and CAPA system.
