Job Summary:

The Commercial Insights and Market Research Manager will be responsible for leveraging data and analytics to drive Blachford Acoustics Group’s marketing strategy. This role requires deep expertise in B2B marketing and a strong analytical mindset to research and evaluate our current customers, target markets, and competitive landscape. Acting as a strategic partner to the sales team, this individual will help identify the best areas to target within customer organizations and provide insights on optimal pricing strategies. They will also be responsible for clearly articulating the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors, ensuring Blachford is well-positioned in the market while strengthening customer relationships and growing our brand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with Blachford Acoustics Group’s goals and objectives, ensuring a data-driven approach to market positioning and customer engagement.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to analyze industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes, identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to clearly articulate the strengths and weaknesses of competitors, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with the sales team to identify the best areas to target within customer organizations and provide insights on pricing strategies, customer segmentation, and account prioritization.
  • Support sales in price management by leveraging market data, competitor pricing, and customer value drivers to develop strategic pricing recommendations.
  • Collaborate with sales, R&D, and customer support teams to ensure marketing strategies align with overall business goals and enhance customer relationships.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts, including the company website, brand messaging, and online presence, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data insights to optimize strategies and improve effectiveness.
  • Develop marketing materials, sales tools, and content that reinforce Blachford’s value proposition and support business development efforts.
  • Serve as a key liaison across departments to ensure a unified approach to market strategy, competitive positioning, and customer engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the marketing and sales functions.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years of marketing experience, in a manufacturing or B2B environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and analytics tools
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in Manufacturing
