Job Title: Commercial Operations – Central Texas

Department: Operations / Commercial Division

Location: Central Texas

Reports To: Regional Operations Manager

Job Purpose

To develop and expand all aspects of synthetic turf in the commercial sector, while assisting in other operational areas of the company as needed. This role is responsible for coordinating installation crews, managing field operations, supporting warehouse activities, and ensuring timely, high-quality project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Crew Management

• Lead and coordinate installation crews to ensure efficient and timely job completion.
• Ensure installers depart on time and understand the timeline for each job.
• Perform job site visits and conduct walkthroughs with customers, including post-installation “Grass Class.”
• Respond to and resolve on-site issues or customer complaints related to installations.
• Schedule and oversee installation repairs.
• Approve field payroll hours and manage crew performance expectations.
• Organize and lead weekly installation team meetings to minimize rework or callbacks.

Operational Coordination

• Coordinate material transfers between offices and retrieve cut sheets from the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory.
• Approve project-related vendor invoices.
• Work closely with the Project Administrator (PA) to schedule jobs and repairs.
• Manage and adjust production schedules as needed.
• Order project materials based on job pipeline and projections.
• Ensure proper maintenance and usage of company vehicles and trailers.

Warehouse & Inventory Support (As Needed)

• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse.
• Help train new installers and warehouse personnel.
• Assign turf and materials to each job to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Cut and wrap orders for jobs or customers.
• Help schedule and coordinate material deliveries.

Customer Support (As Needed)

• Assist walk-in customers with questions, quotes, or product selection.
• Ensure a positive customer experience throughout project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in construction, landscaping, or field operations management
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Basic proficiency with scheduling software and inventory systems
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Work Environment

• Primarily field-based with regular travel to job sites in Central Texas
• Occasional warehouse work and office coordination
• Requires ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
