As a Japanese Copywriter, you will be an essential part of a dynamic team, responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies for Japanese-speaking markets worldwide. You will collaborate with creative teams, regional stakeholders, and business partners to create compelling content across various platforms, including digital, social, broadcast, and print. Your expertise in Japanese language and culture will be crucial in ensuring that the brand’s message is effectively communicated to target audiences. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive messaging strategies aligned with campaign objectives for global Japanese-speaking markets. Partner with creative teams, regional stakeholders, and business partners to craft effective content solutions. Leverage research and data to optimize content performance and implement best practices. Write engaging copy for diverse media formats, including digital, social, broadcast, and print. Uphold Japanese copy guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels. Review and approve marketing materials to ensure brand consistency, grammatical accuracy, and overall effectiveness. Must-Have Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Japanese, technical writing, communications, or a related field 4+ years of experience on a creative team in an ad agency or corporate marketing department Native fluency in Japanese (multiple dialects are a plus) Proven experience in concepting and executing digital, social, and broadcast campaigns Ability to maintain messaging decks for various customer segments, campaigns, and marketing initiatives Strong understanding of writing for specific target audiences and incorporating brand voice guidelines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for communication and collaboration Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience working as part of a global team with remote colleagues Experience working in the Japanese market Proven ability to drive best practices, continuous improvement, and recommend message innovation Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite Ability to utilize research and data to inform messaging Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience in Recruitment Marketing The target hiring compensation range for this role is $43.67 to $48.53 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
