Job Description

A respected plaintiff-side litigation firm in Wilmington is seeking a skilled Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This is a hands-on role supporting complex commercial litigation matters, often involving shareholder disputes, contract claims, and business torts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing the details of fast-moving, high-stakes litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial and appeals.
• Draft and proofread legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
• Coordinate the collection and review of business records, financial documents, and other case-critical materials.
• Perform background research on corporate entities, executives, and transactional histories.
• Manage deadlines, docketing, and court filings in state and federal courts (primarily Delaware Court of Chancery and District of Delaware).
• Organize and manage case files—both electronically and in hard copy—including pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence.
• Assist with deposition preparation and trial support: prepare exhibits, create witness binders, and coordinate logistics.
• Work with e-discovery vendors and platforms to assist with document review and production.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in litigation, preferably with exposure to complex or corporate/commercial matters.
• Experience in Delaware courts, particularly the Court of Chancery, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with plaintiff-side litigation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures, discovery, and case management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and litigation software such as Relativity or Concordance.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
