Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Henry Ford Medical Center - Royal Oak is seeking full-time CRNAs to join their team in metro Detroit. Royal Oak is one of Detroit's most popular suburbs, known for its vibrant restaurants, nightlife, concerts, and the Detroit Zoo.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics during surgical procedures.
  • Provide airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.
  • Conduct appropriate pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings.
  • Collaborate with the Anesthesia and surgical teams on patient care plans.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of care.
  • Support professional development of peers and contribute to a healthy work environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Educate staff, colleagues, patients, and families on anesthesia processes.
  • Engage in community activities and professional organizations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years CRNA work experience (not including RN or training).
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
  • Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Active Michigan Nursing and Specialty Licenses.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Willingness to travel to other ambulatory sites as necessary.
  • Clean malpractice and license history.
  • Commitment to professional communication standards and teamwork.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Active Michigan Nursing and Specialty License (must have in-hand).
  • Board Certified by AANA (REQUIRED).
  • Up-to-date COVID and influenza vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clean malpractice/license history.
  • Eligibility for visa support if applicable (J1 or H1B).
