Cyber Security Engineer – PAM/IAM/SIEM – Seattle Area – $140K to $150K – Hybrid

A client of Maxwell Bonds in the greater Seattle area (you ideally will live within 25–30 miles of the area) is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer with a strong background in Privileged Access Management (PAM)/Identity & Access Management (IAM) and SIEM management.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 2 to 3 days per week in the office. Interviews are actively taking place.

The role involves hands-on implementation and support of CyberArk, along with experience working across SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel or LogRhythm. Broader responsibilities include threat monitoring, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, and general cyber security engineering tasks.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing, configuring and maintaining CyberArk solutions (PAM, EPM, vaults, policy management)
• Supporting IAM systems – access provisioning, SSO, federation and identity lifecycle
• Investigating alerts and maintaining SIEM platforms – Splunk preferred, others welcome
• Driving improvements in endpoint security, network protection and incident response readiness
• Collaborating with infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to reduce risk
• Supporting ongoing security projects, audits and operations initiatives

Background and experience:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in cyber security engineering or related roles
• Solid understanding of IAM principles and strong hands-on CyberArk experience
• Familiarity with common SIEM tools and security frameworks
• Strong communicator with the ability to operate across technical and non-technical teams
• Practical, solutions-oriented mindset

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $140,000 to $150,000 base
