Job Description

eDiscovery Litigation Paralegal

Onsite, Hybrid or Remote

Make the Complex Clear. Make Your Mark.

A premier opportunity has opened with a distinguished multi-office business law firm, representing a rare blend of elite practice and modern flexibility. With a powerful presence across California, Nevada, Texas, and Washington, this firm brings together over 110 accomplished attorneys handling mission-critical matters in M&A, venture capital, securities litigation, private equity, and beyond.

Our client is seeking a sharp, solutions-driven eDiscovery Associate (2–4 years of experience) for its Newport Beach office. This is not a back-office role. This is front-line legal intelligence. The right attorney will be deeply embedded in high stakes matters, collaborating directly with senior counsel across Compliance, Corporate Governance, and Securities Litigation groups.

What Sets This Apart

This is an off-track position designed for top performers who value sophisticated work without the treadmill of traditional partnership tracks. Choose the way you work: onsite, hybrid, or fully remote (California residency required for remote work). Full-time or reduced schedule (75% minimum); the pace is yours to set.

This Role Demands

  • Ownership of analytical workflows to harness and assess ESI with precision.
  • Seamless coordination of litigation lifecycle from document preservation through production.
  • Strategic thinking in applying advanced tools to extract relevance, reduce cost, and surface value.
  • The judgment to identify pivotal documents—and the clarity to explain why they matter.
  • Direct engagement with legal teams, opposing counsel, and firm leadership on high-impact matters.

Ideal Candidates Bring

  • A J.D. from a respected law school.
  • Active California Bar membership, in good standing.
  • 2–4 years focused on eDiscovery in litigation or regulatory investigations.
  • Command of Relativity plus the instincts to build sharp search logic.
  • Deep fluency in eDiscovery protocols, tech, and the real-world demands of litigation.

This is not a steppingstone. It’s a destination.
