About the Role:
As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality estate planning, estate administration, probate, and asset protection planning services to clients. Your work will ensure that our legal services are aligned with our firm's policies and standards while creating an exceptional client experience. You will be part of a collaborative team that values your input and strives to provide peace of mind to families navigating important legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will vary depending on experience but may include:
Conducting client meetings and managing relationships with referral partners.
Leading team meetings and managing case workflows.
Organizing and analyzing asset information to ensure accuracy.
Preparing probate pleadings and coordinating court filings.
Managing asset marshaling, including arranging for valuations.
Preparing MassHealth applications and drafting estate planning documents.
Assisting with the titling and retitling of assets.
Preparing inventories, probate accountings, and assisting with fiduciary income and estate tax returns.
Reviewing documents for accuracy and quality control.
Preparing deeds and offering process improvement recommendations.
Ensuring clients' files move efficiently through the office and adhering to established systems.
Using case management systems to track progress.
Experience with Wealth Counsel and Elder Counsel is a plus!
Qualifications:

Highly organized with a meticulous eye for detail.
A creative problem-solver who takes initiative and is proactive.
Experienced with 3+ years of estate planning, elder law, estate administration, or long-term care planning.
Skilled in working with Microsoft Office (3+ years of experience preferred).
A strong communicator with both clients and internal teams.
Accountable for your work and open to feedback.
Able to maintain client files and track time efficiently.
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (remote and in-office).
No degree required, though experience with document drafting is essential.
