About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Advancement Compliance and Operations. The successful candidate will be a key internal advisor, responsible for shaping the future of the organization's efforts in governance, regulatory affairs, and operational compliance. This role is pivotal in championing philanthropy by safeguarding the integrity of gift agreements, ensuring that contributions align with donor expectations and the company's mission. The Executive Director will also be tasked with driving regulatory compliance, managing the review and maintenance of critical documents, and providing leadership in matters involving donor confidentiality and intent. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years' experience in non-profit governance, regulatory affairs, and compliance. A Juris Doctorate and experience as an attorney are desired. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in organizational integrity, and the ability to work closely with colleagues, campus partners, and external counsel. Essential functions include production, collaboration, and innovation in the advancement of the company's goals. The ideal candidate will be proactive in reviewing the implications of laws impacting the advancement function and will ensure that all internal policies and procedures are up to date and in line with the company's standards.
