About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Human Resources Operations to play a pivotal role in the Talent Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing high-volume HR operations functions, including staffing operations, employee records and data management, school-based HR partnerships, substitute services, and HR contact center operations. This role demands a strategic leader who can ensure that HR operations align with the company's vision and goals, particularly in the areas of academic progress, financial stability, and integrity. The Executive Director will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing direction to both central office and school-based staff, and will be accountable for the development and implementation of HR operations strategies. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of 8 years' of relevant HR leadership experience, with a strong background in managing HR business partners, staffing operations, and HR in a unionized environment. Experience in the public sector or a K-12 school setting is strongly preferred. The role requires a candidate with extensive leadership expertise, the ability to interact and collaborate with employees at all levels, and a deep understanding of the challenges facing urban students. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
