We are seeking a Facility Security Officer Energy to join our Team in our Oak Ridge, TN office. How will you contribute to the team? Responsible for developing, leading, and directing security programs and providing other regulatory support and oversight to AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear business. Develops and maintains policies, programs, and procedures; monitors regulatory media; and uses electronic technology to promote security within the company. Responsible for overseeing security programs that protect AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear property, employees, and customers at AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear facilities. Develops security policies, programs, procedures, and initiatives to ensure the security and safety of employees. Ensures Special Security Agreement (SSA) compliance for AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear. Leads a team of security professionals to ensure regulatory, customer, and company security providing oversight and support and ensuring objectives are being met. Promotes company-wide security awareness working with executives and other levels of management. Uses traditional and advanced techniques to assess the risks and threats facing the Security organization. Performs risk analyses for the company with respect to level of crime, terrorism, workplace violence, and threats from natural and man-made disasters. Reviews security logs and reports of incidents that occur on the grounds of the business to analyze whether failures in existing safety and security policies contributed to the event(s) and to prevent future occurrences of such events. Provides support for the selection of alarm, lighting, and camera systems. Maintains familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the security field. Functions as subject matter expert on U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) security requirements. Manages the Foreign Ownership Control and Influence Program (FOCI) for AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear in accordance with DOE directives. Develops and maintains the enterprise-level access control system, which includes closed-circuit television, at AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear facilities. Is responsible for implementing the Trustworthiness and Reliability Program at AtkinsRéalis US Nuclear facilities in accordance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements. Maintain an active U.S. Department of Energy “Q” clearance. Liaison with the company Government Security Committee and DOE Oversight. All other duties as assigned. What will you contribute? Bachelor's degree required. Requires nine (9) years of experience in DOE/DoD security operations. Requires two (2) years' experience in security at the management-level position. Experience in maintaining FOCI records. Experience with FOCI mitigation compliance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detailed understanding of the requirements needed to perform work in the government (DOE, NRC, and Department of Defense) arena. Detailed understanding of how to interpret and assess compliance with government requirements. Advanced public speaking and presentation skills. Advanced time management skills. Advanced leadership and coaching skills. Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills. Advanced interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and/or monitor multiple projects and activities occurring simultaneously. Ability to work with employees at all organizational levels. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and under various environmental conditions at sites. Ability to travel on short notice approximately 5–10 days per month. Intermediate knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office products required to perform job (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). FSO Certification. Active U.S. Department of Energy “Q” clearance.
