The Front End Developer role is part of Salesforces Digital Marketing Technology group, focused on building features that enhance experiences for website visitors within Salesforces digital ecosystem. The role aims to drive innovation in digital experiences globally by leveraging cutting-edge technology and systems.

This position involves architecture, design, implementation, and testing to ensure high-quality product development and deployment. You will work with a team of world-class engineers to develop features that customers will love and adopt, while maintaining platform stability and scalability.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and building innovative solutions for the Salesforce.com website platform to create engaging user experiences.
• Developing scalable frontend components using modern web standards (HTML5, ES6+, CSS3) and component-based architectures.
• Improving development processes, culture, and code quality through technical excellence.
• Leading frontend architecture decisions and ensuring code quality through reviews.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, UX designers, and performance engineers.
• Mentoring team members on frontend technologies and best practices.
• Presenting and defending technical designs to stakeholders.
• Ensuring quality through testing strategies, automation, and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 6+ years of frontend development experience with large-scale web applications.
• Expertise in HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with React (Angular, Vue, Ember also considered).
• Experience with build tools like Vite, Webpack, Rollup, esbuild, npm/Yarn.
• Knowledge of mobile-first responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices.
• Experience with component architecture, MVC patterns, design systems, web components.
• Testing expertise including TDD, Jest, Playwright, Cucumber.
• Strong communication skills and a related technical degree.

Preferred:

• Experience with design systems and building component libraries.
• Experience with identity and authentication systems like OAuth, SAML, SSO.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design (WCAG).
• Experience with internationalization/localization.
