Job Description

Location: San Francisco (Hybrid)

Compensation: Up to $250K OTE + Equity

A high-growth AI cybersecurity company is building its first sales leadership team after securing $40M in Series A funding-one of the largest European Series A rounds ever! This company is already working with global/award winning enterprise clients and has a strong pipeline of Fortune 500 deals.

After closing $3M in revenue with no formal sales team, the company is now gearing up for rapid growth. This is an opportunity to build and lead a high-performing sales team, define the GTM motion, and own the enterprise expansion strategy in one of the hottest markets in cybersecurity.

The Role

As Head of Sales, you will own and drive enterprise sales, working directly with founders and leadership to define and execute the go-to-market strategy. You will be responsible for both selling and building a world-class sales function, managing a small but growing team while being the lead salesperson driving major enterprise deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and close high-value enterprise deals, selling a cutting-edge AI security solution to CIOs, CISOs, and tech leaders.
  • Manage a small but growing team from Day 1.
  • Develop and execute scalable GTM motions, ensuring the team focuses on high-value opportunities.
  • Be hands-on in the trenches—this is a player-coach role, requiring direct deal execution.
  • Build and refine sales processes, using MEDDIC playbook to drive consistent success.
  • Scale revenue aggressively.

What Does Success Look Like? You establish a repeatable, scalable sales motion, ensuring the team targets high-value opportunities. You will hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, preparing for future expansion.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experienced SaaS sales leader, ideally with 1-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to sell into enterprise accounts, navigating long, complex sales cycles.
  • Experience in fast-growth, early-stage startups, with the ability to thrive in an unstructured, high-growth environment.
  • Hands-on, scrappy leader, willing to be in the trenches, driving deals while scaling the team.
  • Cybersecurity or AI background is a plus, but not required - strong SaaS sales experience is the priority.
  • Experience with MEDDIC.
