Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized, people-focused Human Resources Manager to oversee and lead all HR operations. This role is responsible for managing the employee life cycle, supporting company culture, ensuring compliance with policies, and coordinating key HR programs and benefits. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on support.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Manage and coordinate recruitment efforts for all open positions
  • Oversee the hiring process, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and communicating with applicants
  • Process all employee onboarding and termination paperwork
  • Oversee employee onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientations, and system setup

Employee Relations & Support

  • Conduct entrance and exit interviews, and compile feedback for leadership review
  • Track and respond to employee concerns and day-to-day HR issues in a timely, professional manner
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance and confidentiality

Policy & Compliance

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new HR policies and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure compliance with existing company policies and employment laws
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in ADP, including paid leave and absentee reports

 Benefits & Programs

  • Lead the annual review and renewal of the company’s insurance benefits programs
  • Oversee employee certifications and licensing, ensuring all are current and documented
  • Coordinate company events and employee engagement initiatives
  • Provide oversight for internal employee retention programs such as Launch Pad and Crew Connection

Performance & Development

  • Coordinate and support performance review processes and employee development programs
  • Assist managers in employee coaching, training, and improvement plans

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certifications preferred

· 3+ years of HR experience, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law

· Experience with HR systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now

· Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity

· Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
