Bilingual Maintenance Manager – Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, preventive maintenance execution, and continuous improvement throughout the facility. This role provides leadership and training for maintenance supervisors and technicians while supporting safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Direction – Guide and coach the maintenance team; set strategic and tactical direction for maintenance processes to support production needs.
• Preventive Maintenance – Develop and manage a structured PM program including task planning, scheduling, documentation, and parts management to minimize downtime and maintain compliance standards.
• Work Orders & Projects – Oversee the work order system, assign resources, track completion, and coordinate contractors and vendors for repair or installation projects.
• Process & Performance Improvement – Drive continuous improvement initiatives using problem-solving and efficiency tools to reduce waste, defects, and operating costs.
• Safety & Compliance – Promote a safe work environment through regular audits, training, and enforcement of safety practices and procedures.
• Training & Development – Facilitate training for new hires and current staff, ensuring technical skills development and strong team performance.
• Administration & Inventory – Maintain reports, downtime logs, and accurate spare parts inventory to support uninterrupted production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience (manufacturing industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems; Lean or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and interact effectively at all levels.
• Spanish language proficiency
