Job Description:
This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Enterprise Products & Platforms (EPP) Supply Chain team, where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonald's works. We provide outstanding foundational technology products and services enabling and supporting Global Supply Chain.
Reporting to the Sr Product Manager of Global Technology Supply Chain, the Technical Product Management will anticipate and lead the strategic and tactical needs of the team. You will work with various global customers and collaborators, including distributors, suppliers, and markets, as well as internal team members responsible for security, platform, and data management. In this role, you will be a crucial liaison, representing the voice of technology during the development of processes and governance frameworks that will bring our new function to life. This role is critical in driving outcomes for the Global Supply Chain, managing agile product and process improvements, improving user experience and adoption, and ensuring alignment with both Global and Market Supply Chain teams.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Evaluate and prioritize initiatives that have significant impact on business goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain detailed functional design specification documents to support development and implementation.
  • Participate in the entire lifecycle of product features, from initial concept to ongoing support.
  • Apply design thinking principles to address customer challenges and deliver effective solutions.
  • Ability to be a Product Manager on multiple software platforms.
  • Stay updated on supply chain operations and related systems to provide informed support and solutions.
  • Lead user story gathering and discovery workshops.
  • Provide input into the functional design, write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, providing clear mentorship to developers.
  • Function as scrum leader and support PI planning activities.
  • Facilitate teamwork between onsite and remote development teams.
  • Improve team performance through mentoring and training.
  • Lead the adoption of key takeaways from project retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with other product teams and technical architects to ensure cohesive product development.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure product quality and functionality.
  • Verify testing results and track defects via Jira Dashboards.
  • Support end-to-end testing and provide sign-off for code release.
  • Support the team in adopting with the adoption of PMO processes and standards.
  • Solve difficult problems impacting a team or project.
  • Develop and nurture strong working relationships with collaborators.
  • Work with vendors on either software or system integration (SI).

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this role is $129,800.00 - $165,490.00 per year. The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also consider your experience, and other job-related factors.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years of related experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years working in an Agile Product Management environment, preferably on customer-facing products within agile development teams. Demonstrable experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Smartsheets and managing projects.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence tools.
  • Strong analytical approach and skills in research and analysis.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with data management, data warehouse and data interface concepts.
  • Strong ability to speak to, as well as collaborate with, engineers, product managers, project managers, corporate leadership, and partners.
  • Vendor Management experience software and system integration consultants.
  • Previous project management experience is a plus.
