  9. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to support new product introduction (NPI) projects, from prototype development to full-scale production.
  10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing performance.
  11. Conduct training sessions for production personnel to ensure proper understanding and execution of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
  2. Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.
  3. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for tooling and fixture design (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
  4. Familiarity with quality management systems and standards relevant to aerospace manufacturing (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  8. Knowledge of aerospace regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  10. Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits, conferences, and customer meetings.
