Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate mechanical concepts that meet sub-system functions, objectives, and constraints.
• Work independently and within a team to drive innovation with new technology development and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct and review engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, flow, lab, and physical testing.
• Lead a project from development to launch.
• Design test models and test cells to validate design concepts.
• Assess product performance through lab testing and potential customer site trials.
• Create, implement, and manage development project plans and budgets from concept to final implementation, supporting business commercialization phases.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of business cases for specific projects.
• Organize and analyze data using statistical tools.
• Effectively communicate project updates across different phases and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design and new technology development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Unigraphics preferred).
• Strong background in mechanical design, stress analysis, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
• Experience with data analytics and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of GD&T, metrology, tooling practices, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• A self-motivated problem solver with a keen attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities.
