Job Title: Medical Transcriptionist
Pay Rate: $28.00/hour
Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM start time, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Training Schedule: Initial training will begin at 11:00 AM for 8 hours/day until ramp-up is complete
Job Summary:
On behalf of our client, a leading hospital system in Los Angeles, CA, we are seeking an experienced Medical Transcriptionist to support our pathology department by transcribing and preparing final pathology reports in collaboration with pathologists, laboratory staff, and office personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transcription—preferably within pathology—and demonstrate high accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
