Looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join the engineering team. In this role, you'll design, build and maintain server-side applications and services that power my clients growing platform. You'll be an ideal fit if you have strong experience with Node.js and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and Python Build and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL Deploy and manage applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement solutions Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical planning Write clean, well-tested, and documented code Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Requirements: ~4+ years of professional software development experience ~ Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development ~ Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases ~ Hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL) ~ Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) ~ Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture ~ Experience with version control systems (Git) ~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TypeScript or strong typing systems Familiarity with message queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code Knowledge of security best practices for web applications Contributions to open-source projects Experience with GraphQL Agile/Scrum methodology experience If you want to build, scale and work on high-impact projects with a top-tier team, let’s talk.
