Oracle HCM Cloud Architect (OIC & Conversions)

Location: Local to Charlotte, NC or New Jersey preferred, Occasional Travel Required

Contract Duration: 12 months

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Architect to lead our client’s Oracle HCM, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and data conversion initiatives. This critical role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our Oracle ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data migration. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud, OIC, and data conversion methodologies, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership:
• Design and implement robust and scalable Oracle HCM Cloud solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Develop and maintain the overall Oracle architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on Oracle HCM, OIC, and conversion projects.
• Evaluate and recommend best practices for Oracle system performance, security, and scalability.
• Oracle HCM Cloud Expertise:
• Lead the design and configuration of Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Talent Management, Compensation, and Payroll.
• Provide expert knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud functionalities and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Oracle HCM issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud updates and features.
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Development:
• Design and develop integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and other enterprise systems using OIC.
• Implement and maintain OIC integrations, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Optimize OIC performance and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Create and maintain OIC documentation.
• Data Conversion Management:
• Lead the planning and execution of data conversion activities from legacy systems to Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Develop and implement data migration strategies and procedures.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy during the conversion process.
• Manage data mapping, transformation, and validation activities.
• Oversee data cleansing activities.
• Project Leadership and Collaboration:
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Provide regular project status updates and reports.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Work with Oracle support for SR resolution.
• Documentation and Training:
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Develop and deliver training materials for end-users and technical staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Architect, with a focus on Oracle HCM Cloud, OIC, and data conversions.
• Deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud modules and configurations.
• Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development and implementation.
• Proven experience in leading data conversion projects.
• Excellent understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• Preferred location in Charlotte, NC or New Jersey.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle certifications.
• Experience with other Oracle Cloud applications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
