Job Description

Job Title: Outdoor Television Producer

Company: Media 360, LLC (Parent Company of  Deer & Deer Hunting Magazine)

Location: Waupaca, WI (Travel required, especially fall months)

Job Type: Full-Time

About Us:

Media 360, LLC is a leading content creator in the outdoor industry and the proud parent company of  Deer & Deer Hunting magazine — the longest-running whitetail publication in North America. Our mission is to deliver compelling, educational, and entertaining content to passionate hunters through digital platforms, print, podcasts, and television. We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video & Podcast Producer to join our dynamic team and help tell stories that inform and inspire.

Position Overview:

The Video & Television Producer is responsible for developing, producing, and editing original television and video content, primarily for broadcast and long-form projects. You’ll work closely with our editorial, marketing, and production teams to create engaging, outdoor-focused stories that resonate with our loyal audience. While your focus will be television and long-form video editing, our small, fast-paced team occasionally pitches in on social and digital content when needed. Hunting experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person with a passion for storytelling and a strong visual sense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce, shoot, and edit television episodes and long-form video content for Deer & Deer Hunting and related brands
  • Support field production, including hunts, interviews, and on-location shoots
  • Collaborate with editorial staff and subject matter experts to develop scripts and storylines
  • Manage media assets, organize footage, and maintain project archives
  • Ensure all content meets brand standards and project deadlines
  • Travel 20–40% during the fall months for field production (travel varies by project)
  • Maintain equipment inventory and ensure gear is field-ready
  • Occasionally assist with short-form video and social media projects as team needs arise
  • Stay current on industry trends, hunting topics, and television production best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in video production, television production, or a related field (outdoor industry experience a plus)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar editing software)
  • Strong storytelling skills with an eye for composition, pacing, and audience engagement
  • Experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, audio recorders, and related field gear
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in both studio and field environments
  • Knowledge of whitetail deer hunting and outdoor content (preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during peak seasons

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to work with an iconic outdoor media brand
  • Creative freedom and the ability to shape meaningful hunting stories
  • 401K + Match, Medical, Dental & Vision
  • Travel opportunities to prime hunting destinations
  • A collaborative, passionate team environment

How to Apply:

Submit your resume, cover letter, and a link to your portfolio or samples of relevant video/audio work to david.gilane@media360llc.com. In your cover letter, tell us why you’re the right fit and what excites you about producing content for hunters.
