Adecco is seeking Licensed Pharmacy Technicians in Plano, Texas for the premier distributors of oncology and specialty medications.
Requirements : To be considered for this role you must have the following skills, experience, and certifications:
-Must possess a current Texas Pharmacy Technician License. - This is not negotiable.
-Must hold a current Nationally Board-Certified Pharmacy Technician License
- Must have 1-3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
-Data Entry skills
-Experience working in a Central Fill setting is a big plus!
-High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Pay- The anticipated wage for this position is $18.50 to $19. Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Schedule :
Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5pm, Friday 8:30am-4pm
Location- Plano, Texas 75024- ONSITE
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Verify prescription information and dosage- Working with PARATA machines
- Enter patient and prescription data into the pharmacy’s computer system
- Manage inventory and order supplies
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues
- Provide customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns
- Organize and maintain patient records
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Prepare and label medication containers
- Support pharmacists with administrative tasks as needed
