POLICE OFFICER
Hiring Range: $48,000 to $69,000 Annually DOE/DOQ
The Platte City Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency dedicated to providing and maintaining a safe and secure community for its citizens, businesses and visitors.
As a Police Officer in Platte City, you will be responsible for maintaining public order, preventing and investigating crimes and enforcing laws. Duties include, but are not limited to: enforcing traffic laws and road safety, responding to calls for service, supporting investigations, gathering evidence, making arrests and building positive relationships with the community.
Successful applicants must have a valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent, Missouri Post Class A required for this recruitment. Selected applicants must pass extensive background investigation, CVSA, psychological exam, physical ability and substance screening. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function in the performance of this job.
