Project Coordinator Marine Interior Outfitting & Shipyard ProjectsLocation: Primarily Philadelphia, PA (local areas only) Reports to: Project Engineer Type: Full-Time, On-Site (40+ hours/week, salaried) Pay: Competitive, commensurate with experienceAbout US Outfitters (USO)USO is a leader in marine interior outfitting, providing end-to-end solutions for complex projects. We value technical precision, discipline, and reliable field execution.About the RoleThis is not a general project coordinator role. Were seeking a hands-on, technically literate coordinator with experience supporting shipyard, construction, or industrial field projects. You will assist project engineers and managers on the ground with schedule tracking, material coordination, field updates, and documentation across multiple teams.Applicants without relevant industry experience will not be considered.ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Engineer and/or Project Manager in the planning, execution, and closeout of marine interior outfitting projectsMaintain project documentation, schedules, procurement logs, RFIs, and submittal trackingTrack task completion, material deliveries, and labor deployment dailyAct as a liaison between field supervisors, teams, and external stakeholdersMaintain change order logs and assist with tracking project scope modificationsInterface with vendors, subcontractors, and site crews professionallyConduct site walks and provide field-level administrative support when required.Monitor safety adherence and ensure quality standards are followed Minimum Qualifications3+ years of project coordination experience in marine outfitting, commercial construction, shipbuilding, or related technical/engineering industriesStrong understanding of construction project lifecycles, documentation, and change managementProficiency in MS Project or scheduling tools, Excel, and construction management software (e.g., Fieldwire, etc.)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is a mustStrong communication, prioritization, and field coordination skillsWork RequirementsMust reside in the Philadelphia metro area or have firm relocation plansAbility to work 40+ hours weekly on-site (some weekends/evenings possible)OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certificationMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesPhysical & Safety RequirementsLift and carry up to 50 lbsStand, walk, bend, squat, climb stairs/ladders multiple times dailyWork at heights and in noisy, hot/cold environments Must be able to work around machinery and equipment safely.Wear required PPE including steel toe bootsMust pass all pre-employment screenings:Drug TestPhysicalBackground CheckRespirator Fit TestIMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYINGThis is not an entry-level or transferable position.
