Project Estimator

They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator to join their team. This role requires expertise in estimating, sales, and project management, ensuring seamless execution from initial bid to project completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing upcoming projects, managing client relationships, and overseeing production phases to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Focus:

• Track and assess upcoming projects for bidding.
• Conduct on-site measurements and inspections for wood and metal structures.
• Develop repair matrices and comprehensive project assessments.
• Prepare and present professional project proposals.
• Engage and communicate with property managers and board members.
• Follow up on all open leads to secure project approvals.
• Manage awarded projects from contract execution to completion.
• Coordinate project schedules, crew assignments, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Monitor work quality, site cleanliness, and overall project progress.
• Provide consistent project updates and secure phase approvals.
• Oversee invoicing, billing, and project documentation.

Skill Set:

• Strong background in construction estimating, sales, or project management.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and project specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships with property managers and board members.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with estimating software is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
