Sales Account Manager – Medical Device Manufacturing

📍 Location: Remote/Hybrid; Shelbyville, IN | 🌍 Travel: 20-30% | 🏢 Industry: Medical Device & Manufacturing

What You’ll Do:

As our Sales Account Manager , you will be at the forefront of PMC’s business growth, driving customer engagement and expanding relationships with industry-leading OEMs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Business Growth & Sales Execution

  • Proactively develop and execute sales strategies for new and existing customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Lead the entire sales process—from prospecting to contract execution.
  • Conduct customer presentations, Lunch & Learns, and on-site visits to showcase PMC’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to develop value-driven solutions.

🔹 Strategic Account Management

  • Strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations.
  • Develop long-term account management plans to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Support quarterly business reviews , ensuring alignment with customer needs and PMC’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage pricing, RFQs, and contract negotiations to maintain a competitive edge.

🔹 New Prospect Development

  • Research and engage high-potential prospects aligned with PMC’s strategic goals.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline, nurturing leads into long-term partnerships.

What You Bring to the Table:

✔️ 5+ years of direct sales & account management experience in manufacturing.

✔️ Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Marketing, or Business preferred).

✔️ Strong experience in medical manufacturing, injection molding, resin, or tooling sales .

✔️ Proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts, conduct high-impact presentations, and negotiate complex deals .

✔️ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated strong drive to take initiative and deliver results.

✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) .

✔️ Willingness to travel 20-30% for customer meetings and site visits.
