As a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Copywriter to join their Global Creative internal agency. The role focuses on ideation and execution of compelling and engaging copy that aligns with the company's brand and business objectives. Responsibilities include developing innovative copy for marketing materials, digital content, and corporate communications; writing clear, persuasive, and original copy; collaborating with designers and marketers; maintaining and refining the brand's tone of voice; conducting research on target audiences and industry trends; editing and proofreading copy; and incorporating stakeholder feedback. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field, a minimum of 5 years of copywriting experience preferably in B2B, a strong portfolio, excellent writing and editing skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in an in-house creative agency and knowledge of SEO and digital marketing. This is a hybrid position based in Glendale, WI, requiring 2-3 days in office.
