Reddit, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA.
Job Duties: Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute product and business strategy and build novel products and features that our users will love. Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch. Review code and design docs, giving feedback on product specs and mocks. Participate with a team of thoughtful, fast-moving, and motivated engineers. Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and help mentor junior engineers on the team to grow their technical expertise. Continuously learn and improve your technical and non-technical abilities. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Kotlin; (2) Jetpack Compose; (3) Android; (4) GraphQL; (5) Algorithms; (6) Java; (7) Github; (8) Android Studio; (9) Machine Learning; and (10) Distributed Systems. In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
