Colonial Group, Inc., a multi-generational family-owned business, is offering a full-time Finance and Accounting summer internship at its Savannah, Georgia, office.

The student intern will work closely with industry leaders, learning to manage and reconcile daily cash transactions, ensure accuracy in accounts receivable and financial reports, verify and resolve discrepancies in financial accounts, record transactions, and prepare financial statements for month-end closing.

This role requires strong computer skills, especially in Excel, attention to detail, organization, and data analysis. Candidates must work well independently and in teams. The internship concludes with a Leadership Luncheon, where interns present their summer learnings to Colonial Group, Inc.'s Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited accounting bachelor's program OR a recent graduate (within six months).
• The ability to commute daily to our Savannah, Georgia office.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
