Senior Director, Recruitment @ WhiteCap Search | Accounting & Finance

A well-established and growing CPA firm based in Long Island is seeking a Tax Senior to join their experienced team. This hybrid role offers excellent benefits, including 100% employer-covered medical insurance for employees, a 401(k) with up to 4% match, profit sharing based on actuarial performance, a competitive base salary with bonus and paid overtime during tax season, as well as annual raises and merit increases every December.

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and exempt organizations.
• Develop tax projections and assist clients with year-round planning.
• Provide ongoing accounting services to a diverse client base.
• Review, adjust, and close annual books and records.
• Compile supporting financial statements and documentation.
• Assist with federal and state tax audits and respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Conduct tax research to support filings and client advisories.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting.
• CPA designation preferred, but not required.
• 4 years of experience in tax and accounting.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (both Desktop and Online).
• Experience with tax preparation software.
