Job Description

Our client, a well-known and respected community bank in Connecticut, is seeking a Wealth Management and Trust Officer to join their team. This role is responsible for administering high-net-worth and trust accounts, developing new business, and supporting financial planning efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer trust and investment accounts, ensuring compliance with fiduciary standards.
• Develop new business by following up on leads and participating in client meetings with senior wealth management officers, advisors, and bankers.
• Support financial planning efforts and provide guidance to clients on wealth management strategies.
• Build relationships with existing and prospective clients to support long-term growth.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver a coordinated approach to client service.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in wealth management, trust administration, or financial planning.
• Strong relationship management skills and the ability to engage with clients and prospects.
• Knowledge of fiduciary principles and trust regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and client-facing teams.
• Studying for CFP or CFP Certification strongly preferred.
