Unarmed Security Guard/Reception

Frederick, MD $19.50-$22.50/hour. Full-time hours and great benefits! All shifts available! Are you a dedicated security professional who has demonstrated reliability in the workplace? Our long-time client needs someone like you! They are seeking an experienced front desk security associate with a current or renewable Security Commission from the State of MD. This is a permanent full-time position. In addition to great pay, earn paid holidays and annual paid time off! Retired military or police officers make great candidates! Your positive, upbeat attitude will help ensure a positive visitor experience in this highly regarded facility in Frederick. About this job:

• Climate-controlled and primarily indoor work environment with intermittent outdoor facilities/parking lot checks
• Daytime, evening, and night shift hours are available
• You will be responsible for verifying a safe and secure environment for visitors and staff
• Greet guests and assist with badging visitors
• Security check rounds during each shift maintaining visibility for staff and guests
• Maintain an electronic visitor log
• Calmly deal with occasional upset visitors using your strong de-escalation skills
• Day shift 7a-3:30p, Evenings 3p-11:30p, Overnights 11p-7:30a
