The Alphabet Workers Union is a progressive, member-led union organizing workers at Alphabet, Google’s parent company. Bringing workers together using innovative direct-join tactics, we represent over one-thousand dues-paying members at Google and associated vendors and contractors. We are a proud local union of the Communications Workers of America and affiliated with CODE-CWA (Campaign to Organize Digital Employees), the driving force uniting tech workers across North America.
Job Summary:
Organizers will be assigned to work on a variety of creative campaigns with the aim of building workers’ union strength. Organizers may work with union members to build strong workplace organizing committees, assist workers in their quest for union recognition, or support members who have won recognition and are seeking a first collective bargaining agreement.
In all cases, organizers will be tasked with effectively mobilizing workers around workplace issues, identifying and developing worker leaders, and carrying out all other programs of the union in the field.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is: $77,900 – $94,960, commensurate with experience and in compliance with the staff union collective bargaining agreement.

We are interested in applicants who live in or near metropolitan areas of New York or the San Francisco Bay Area. However, applicants who live near a major airport are also encouraged to apply as some travel will be required.
