Reporting Relationship : This position will report to the CMO of The Tebow Group.

Summary : The Video Director will apply their video leadership skills to help clients tell brand-building stories that engage the viewer and evoke a response. The ideal candidate will direct compelling video content for delivery—from pre-production through post— in a variety of mediums including social media platforms, websites, campaigns, and digital use. Most of our videos are for social media content, so understanding best practices for sizing, framing, captioning, and in-app optimization is a must.

Top Five Responsibilities: 

• Lead and Manage
• Visionary for storytelling principles for TTF/TTG
• Pre-produce all high-priority videos for TTF/TTG
• On set director for all high-priority videos for TTF/TTG
• Backfill for editing when/if necessary

Requirements: 

• Lead, mentor, and manage our team of four editors. 
• Master storyteller with the ability to develop a story arc, build an emotional connection with the viewer—inspiring them to respond. 
• Pre-Produce and direct all videos for the Tim Tebow Foundation and Tim / Demi’s personal brands.
• Superior knowledge of the technical aspects of filmmaking.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs and deadlines.
• 3-5 years of video directing experience in an agency or in-house setting.
• 5-7 years of video production experience. 
• Curiosity and enthusiasm to evolve skills by continually researching new storytelling trends, techniques, and principles.
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
• Proficient in DaVinci Resolve or a willingness to learn DaVinci Resolve) for editing and coloring.
• Desire to be a part of a mission-driven organization (Due to our support of the Tim Tebow Foundation, most of our storytelling is focused on Christian and ministry content).

The Role:

• Lead the video team; developing them to be masterful storytellers. 
• Focus on the creative details that shape the audience's experience and provoke a response. 
• Serve as the visionary leader, focusing on the story’s creative quality. 
• Develop the artistic and narrative vision for all videos.
• Guide the cast's performances and the crew’s execution during filming.
• Collaborate with the producer on casting, scouting, set design, props, wardrobe, storyboards, and shot lists. 
• Use an internal project management system to post work for review and communicate with the team, as well as diligently track time for all clients.
• Ensure all video team projects are on schedule and meet required deadlines.
