JOB DETAILS

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the Warehouse / distribution center. They will be responsible to ensure the operations of the warehouse are in accordance to company standards. The candidate is responsible to maintain a clean and organized warehouse. The Operations is conducted in manner that is congruent with the food safety and quality standards of the company. This leadership position will be responsible for the “ The People, Process and Systems ” aspect of the warehousing operations, along with all the equipment’s / warehouse assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for shipping & Receiving activities of the warehouse. (Both External and internal Customers).

  • Responsible recruiting, training of warehouse personnel.

  • Responsible to inventory accuracy @ 99.9% (location, lot, product & qty accuracy)

  • Responsible to for all warehouse efficiency metrics cost(s) , labor efficiency, and pick efficiencies.

  • Must ensure that developing and documenting all the SOP’s and ensuring all the process are being adhered and process deviations are addressed.

  • The individual will ensure all the WMS / system transactions are performed real time (as pre-defined process guidelines). Lag should be minimized.

  • Work with Pest Management companies to ensure desired quality standards are maintained and preventive program are implemented to ensure there is no infestation in the warehouse.

  • Manage the daily reports and deliverables of the warehouse Admin.

  • Ensure all the required supplies are ordered in a timely manner.

  • Keep the Warehouse clean and free of debris.

  • Maintain Daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and sanitation or Warehouse.

  • Proper opening and transfer of totes broken or damaged bags. Adhering/fix proper labeling on pallets.

  • Implement cycle counting procedures.

  • Ensure Warehouse facilities follow local, state and federal sanitation codes.

  • Ensure ongoing maintenance in Warehouse.

  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Warehouse management.
  • Willingness to put in necessary time to get the job done.
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels.
  • Customer Service skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with maintenance issues and policies.
  • Ability to move related equipment when necessary.
