Apprentice Carpenter – Full-Time
Location: Scarborough, Ontario
We are a residential renovation and construction company based in Scarborough, Ontario, and we are currently hiring full-time Apprentice Carpenters. Our work ranges from framing and drywall to flooring, trim, and finish carpentry. With a focus on craftsmanship, safety, and reliability, we bring experience and attention to detail to every project.
We believe in learning by doing, and a crew to help you grow.
Responsibilities
Assist team with framing, drywall, trim work, flooring, and general renovations
Learn to interpret blueprints and follow building plans
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Follow workplace safety procedures and building codes
Load/unload materials, clean up job sites, and maintain a safe, organized work area
Lift heavy loads
Take direction from supervisors and contribute to a team environment
Qualifications
Completion of a college-level course in Carpentry Techniques (or currently enrolled)
Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varied weather
Familiarity with basic tools and measurement practices is an asset
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Driver’s license and access to transportation is an asset
