As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be impacting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), while receiving the necessary guidance and tools in order to grow professionally and provide the best possible care to our clients.
Minimum Requirements:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Eighteen (18) years of age
-Six (6) months working as a Behavioral Technician (RBT/RBAI)
-Six (6) months using tablets, computers and scanning documents
-Valid driver's license and access to transportation for use on the job or acceptable alternative to travel to client locations
Preferred (not required):
-College coursework in a related field
-CPR certification
-Safety Training certification
Job Duties:
-Provide direct, one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with autism
-Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
-Utilize evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
-Accurately collect and record data to track client progress
-Prepare reports using proper punctuation, spelling and grammar
-Use technology, email and scan documents
-Adapt to challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism
-Possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others
-Meet productivity expectations, organize tasks, and manage time effectively
-Effective communication skills and maintain positive relationships
-Assist with guiding clients, support physical transitions, and handle materials, toys, and equipment
-Respond quickly to ensure client safety and manage behavioral situations, including intervening if a child runs away
-Maintain consistent engagement with clients in various settings including outdoor and community environments
-Use fine and gross motor skills to complete tasks such as writing, operate electronic devices, and facilitate play-based interventions
-Observe client behaviors and respond appropriately to verbal and non-verbal cues
-Follow crisis management protocols when necessary, based on training and company policies
-Engage in active movement throughout sessions, including stand, walk, run, kneel, squat, bend, and sit on the floor throughout shift
-Perform any other duties as assigned

Hours:
-Part time or full time; twenty (20) to forty (40) hours (hrs) per week - no Sundays
-Hrs of operation 8 AM to 8 PM high demand for afterschool hrs
Pay:
$19 to $25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications; reimbursed for travel expenses
