Job Title: Compounding Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description As a Pharmacy Technician, you will facilitate the delivery of medications to patients and their families in hospital and clinic settings, while also coordinating payments and insurance verifications. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and filling medication orders and medication carts. Process prescriptions and distribute medication to patients. Perform quality assurance inspections and maintain stock levels in all areas of the hospital. Essential Skills Proficiency in pharmacy and retail pharmacy operations. Experience in medication refills and data entry. Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred. Ability to perform dosage calculations and communicate effectively with all levels of hospital personnel. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience with pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing cabinet software, and technical equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the Internet. Customer service and communication skills. Ability to walk around the hospital for extended periods. Work Environment You will work within a large health system's Infusion Pharmacy. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
