Aureon Consulting has an immediate need for an entry level IT Analyst for a 6 month contract in West Des Moines, Iowa. This role requires onsite work, and candidates must be able to interview in person. Applicants must be immediately available to interview and capable of passing a standard background check.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure new computer systems to replace outdated hardware.
• Perform Windows operating system upgrades.
• Image and prepare computers for end-user deployment.
• Properly dispose of obsolete IT assets in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of computing and networking fundamentals.
• Proficiency with standard desktop applications, including Microsoft Office, as well as intranet and internet tools.
• Familiarity with computer security policies and general cybersecurity principles.
• Minimum of 1 year of IT experience preferred; recent graduates with relevant education will also be considered.

Education Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
