Job Description

We're Hiring: Forensic Interviewer
Location: Child Protection Center | Salary Starting at $47,000

Are you quick-thinking, intuitive, and fueled by compassion? Do you believe in the power of empathy and teamwork to create real change in the lives of children? If so, we want to meet you.

At the Child Protection Center (CPC), we’re on a mission to protect, support, and uplift children through trauma-informed care. We’re currently seeking a Forensic Interviewer who shares our core values of authenticity, compassion, and integrity to join our incredible team.

About You:

  • You're kindhearted but sharp — a compassionate listener who knows how to think on your feet.

  • You’re adaptable and intuitive, ready to meet each child where they are.

  • You thrive in a team environment and are driven by a sense of purpose and community.

  • You're not just looking for a job — you're looking to make a difference.

What You’ll Do:

As a forensic interviewer, you’ll be on the front lines of child advocacy — conducting interviews with children in a safe, supportive environment. Your work will directly support investigations, families, and the pursuit of justice.

Perks of Joining CPC:

  • 37.5 hour work week — because balance matters

  • One remote day per week — flexibility that works for you

  • Flexible work policy — life happens, we get it

  • Generous PTO package + paid federal holidays

  • Paid week off in December — yes, really!

  • Paid parental leave

  • Medical, dental, and vision premiums covered at 80%

  • Ongoing training and growth opportunities

  • Bombass teammates — seriously, they're the best

More info to know:

  • Starting salary: $47,000
  • Applications to be reviewed starting June 9, 2025.
  • Anticipated start date: mid-September 2025 with a mandatory one-week training in St. Louis, Missouri from October 20-24, 2025.

If you're ready to use your skills to be a voice for the voiceless — and do it alongside a team of passionate, fun, and dedicated professionals — apply now and let’s talk.

Authenticity. Compassion. Integrity.
That’s what we’re made of. Join us.
