Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) Education: Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related discipline preferred. License/Certifications: RHIT or RHIA preferred. Experience: One year of experience in Release of Information required. Previous EPIC or EMR experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Release of Information Specialist I role. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Medical terminology course - must obtain within six months of start date.
