Senior Superintendent – Water & Wastewater Construction

Location: Front Range, Colorado

A leading heavy civil contractor in Colorado is hiring a Superintendent/Senior Superintendent to help drive the execution of complex water infrastructure projects across the Front Range. With a strong pipeline of work and no weekend hours, this is a high-impact field leadership opportunity with fast-track potential to become General Water/Wastewater Superintendent as the Water Division continues to expand.

About the Role

This position is best suited to an experienced water/wastewater professional who thrives in the field. You’ll be the key boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for overseeing crews, subcontractors, and daily jobsite operations on major water treatment plant upgrades, lift stations, pump stations, and greenfield treatment facilities. This is a long-term career opportunity in a company that promotes from within and values proactive, hands-on leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Lead field operations on major water/wastewater projects (greenfield and improvement jobs)
• Manage crews, subs, and day-to-day site work
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, and inspectors
• Oversee install of mechanical piping, equipment, and utilities
• Enforce safety, quality, and production standards
• Mentor crews and keep schedules on track

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years in water/wastewater construction
• Strong experience with mechanical systems, pipes, and utilities
• Proven leadership on large projects ($10M–$100M)
• Familiarity with CMAR or Design-Build delivery methods
• Strong communication, safety-first mindset

Compensation & Benefits

• $120K–$175K base salary + bonus
