Summary

Arcadis DPS is seeking an experienced construction operations leader to join our growing team in Chandler, AZ as the Site Director. In this role, the Site Director is responsible for managing our construction management staff, project performance, client relationships and internal operations.

Ideal candidates will have proven success working in the construction industry, holding supervisory roles in construction project management with operations and personnel leadership experience.

This is not a remote position and will require the selected individual to live local and in commutable distance to the Chandler, AZ office and client sites. Some travel may be required. Relocation assistance is available for the selected individual.

  • Responsibilities Oversee construction management services (CMS) staff, ensure project delivery timelines, maintain high-quality project outcomes, and maintain business budget & margin targets.
  • Manage relationships between clients, staff, and operations functions, work with operations teams to assess resource availability, and assemble project teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and advance client relationships through sales strategies and client contacts, resulting in new contracts and added value for our clients.
  • Lead teams of construction management personnel, ensuring that all company standards and policies are enforced throughout the designated operational region. Ensure successful delivery of all client projects.
  • Attract, develop & retain a team of expert personnel to support identified local Clientele.
  • Manage and select engineering projects, in addition to overseeing technical staff.
  • Provide mentoring and training of construction management staff across various levels.
  • Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy to achieve company sales goals and profitability.
  • Responsible for meeting operational, financial, and business targets.
  • Properly identify and assess project risks and escalate to senior leadership as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated leadership experience in building and developing a sustainable business. In-depth knowledge of local market and local professionals.
  • Experience at leadership level in Engineering and Construction Management support to Semiconductor industry.
  • Strong project/program management, business development and people/team management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to build and sustain a successful local operation.
  • Excellent track record of running operations, project delivery and business expansion.
  • Proven financial and business modelling acumen.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally (10-20%) to company and client meetings.
  • A degree in a relevant field is required, Construction, Engineering, or Business.
  • At least 8 years relevant semiconductor construction industry experience with a further 5 years of proven leadership at a similar level.
  • Ability to provide valid work authorization for US employment required.
